​​​​2017-2018 ACADEMIC YEAR DORM APPLICATION RESULTS and
 NOTICE ON FINAL REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

2017-2018 academic year dormitory applications are finalized.

Student who are given a place in the dormitories are required to pay the dorm fees to the bank accounts specified below until September 12, 2017 by the end of business day. Those who do not pay their fee until the specified date will lose their place and they will asked to renew their application. The applications in this case will be taken into consideration only if there is a vacancy.

There may occur delays for about one week due to the value date of money transfers in international payments, and we may not view the finalized payment transaction immediately after you pay. Therefore, you are required to submit the bank receipt of your payment to yurtlar@sehir.edu.tr until September 12 at the latest.

Full scholarship student who also have a boarding scholarship have the right to stay in the dormitories free of charge for 9 months (Fall Semester + Spring Semester).

Students who were previously dismissed from the guesthouses by a “Final Order of Dismissal" will not be allowed to stay in the dormitories. Students who have back debts to the guesthouses and do not pay them back will lose their place in the dormitories. Also, they will not be able to complete final registration and dorm entry procedures.

Important Notice: Moving in the dormitories will start October 23. It will not be possible to move in early due to construction and technical work being carried out in the dormitory buildings. Please make sure you observe the moving in dates in order to avoid any inconvenience.

Moving in the dormitories will be allowed after submission of the final registration documents to the dormitory management and signing of the related contracts.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FINAL REGISTRATION

  • Application form
  • Photocopy of your ID card for Turkish citizens (Passport copy for international students),
  • 2 passport size photos
  • Study permit for international students
  • Criminal record and archive record certificate
  • Medical certificate prepared by a physician showing that the student's health is suitable for dormitory residence (Reports without tuberculosis screening are invalid.) Medical certificates must be renewed every year before dormitory registration.
  • Signed “Service Procurement Contract" indicating that the student accepts the dormitories' rules and decisions
  • Bank receipt showing payment of the dormitory fee per semester (does not apply to students with dormitory scholarship)
