Mehmet Yigit Gurdal 
Bogazici University 

Mehmet Yigit Gurdal is an associate professor of Economics at Bogazici University. He got his PhD in 2009 from the University of Minnesota. His research falls in the areas of Experimental Economics and Microeconomics, in general. In His research he focuses on decision making under certainty when outcomes have impacts on others, truth-telling and deception, economic implications of religious beliefs, financial behavior such as retirement investment, writing bad checks etc. He has published his work in Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Economic Modelling, Journal of Political Economy, Review of Economic Design, Journal of Economic Psychology, Journal of Neuroscience, Psychology and Economics. He teaches courses on Experimental Economics, Microeconomics.
