PO1: Developing an advanced knowledge of the theoretical approaches, conceptual tools and methodologies produced in the discipline of Political Science and International Relations
PO2: Developing the ability to apply the theoretical, conceptual and methodological knowledge produced in the discipline of Political Science and International Relations where needed.
PO3: Developing the ability to synthesize the knowledge produced in other branches of social sciences (i.e. history, sociology, psychology, economy) with the disciplinary knowledge of Political Science and International Relations
PO4: Developing the ability to critically and analytically evaluate the problems and issues of the field of Political Science and International Relations.
PO5: Developing the ability to identify and address the problems at the national, regional and global levels in their historical contexts by utilizing the knowledge and methods within the discipline of Political Science and International Relations.
PO6: Developing the ability to evaluate and discuss, and when necessary offer potential solutions for, the dynamics and causes and effects of the political, economic, social and cultural events and processes and also the formation and transformation of political actors and institutions.
PO7: Developing the ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the current academic literature in Political Science and International Relations.
PO8: Developing the ability to conduct independent research in matters that pertain to not only Political Science and International Relations but also other fields of social sciences and humanities and also the ability to communicate in written and oral fora on these matters.
