Thesis/Project Selection and Submission Procedure

THESIS SELECTION and SUBMISSION

STEP 1: Fill the Thesis Advisor Approval Form by the end of first semester in the program.
STEP 2: Fill the Thesis Topic Approval Form by the end of second semester in the program.
STEP 3: After the approval of research advisor and thesis topic, students are required to register for the thesis course for every semester until the graduation starting with the third semester in the program.
STEP 4: Fill the Thesis Committee Approval Form and submit it to the Graduate School at least one month before the planned defense date.
STEP 5: Submit the thesis to your advisor. The advisor should check the thesis for the format and submit the Thesis Format Approval Form and send the thesis to the Graduate School at least two weeks before the planned defense date. 
STEP 6: Fill the App​lication Form for Thesis Defense and submit it to the Graduate School at least two weeks before the planned defense date.
STEP 7: Graduate School will prepare the plagiarism report and share with the committee​. If there is no problem, the Graduate School will confirm the defense date and reserve the room. The defense will be announced by the Graduate School.
STEP 8: Print out the Thesis Defense Proceeding and present the form to the members of the thesis committee in the defense. The student is required to submit the signed copy to the Graduate School in three days after the defense. 
STEP 9: Thesis advisor could grade your thesis course as satisfactory.

PROJECT SELECTION and SUBMISSION

STEP 1: Fill the Project Advisor Approval Form​ by the end of first semester in the program.
STEP 2: Register for the project course when you start working on the project.
STEP 3: Prepare a report in the format approved by the Graduate School and submit to your advisor. 
STEP 4: Your advisor should send the electronic copy of the project to the Graduate School for the plagiarism report.
STEP 5: Project advisor could grade your project course as satisfactory if the plagiarism report is OK.
STEP 6: Print out the project and submit the signed copy to the Graduate School.
