ŞEHİR TTO Training for Technology Transfer Accelerator Program Began

Team which completes the program as the first will be offered the opportunity to access to global market.
​​​Trainings for the Technology Transfer Accelerator Program 2019, which has been held by ŞEHİR Technology Transfer Office, which has opened a door to a large number of entrepreneurial ideas for early stage technology investments and taken an investment of a total of 6 million Euros in 5 years for entrepreneurs in its ecosystem, have started. Training, mentoring and consultancy opportunities are offered to selected technology initiatives within the scope of the program implemented in cooperation with Maven Consultancy Company in Munich, Germany. The program will end on December 27, 2019 with the Demo Day event.

The opening of Technology Transfer Accelerator Program (TTAP), held by ŞEHİR Technology Transfer Office (TTO) since 2015 for the commercialization of technology, was realized with the participation of İstanbul Şehir University President Prof. Peyami Çelikcan, Oral Avcı, on behalf of MAVEN and Halime Usta Yoğun, the Director of ŞEHİR R&D and Technology Transfer Office. In the scope of the program, those whose initiatives have been accepted got their first training called "How a Technology Initiative Get Started?" given by Melih Efeoğlu, the founder of Geometry Venture Development.

Entrepreneurs will be ready to meet investors with Demo Day
This year, the program, organized with the motto of "We are looking for the best technology of Turkey.” will continue with the activities such as "Entrepreneur and Mentor Meetings" and "Evaluation Meeting" as well as education. ŞEHİR TTO Technology Transfer Accelerator Program will end on December 27, 2019 with the Demo Day event, which is designed to enable entrepreneurs, who are able to develop a business model for technology-based and innovative business ideas and verify it in the market, to get investment.

In addition to the trainings, mentoring and consultancy opportunities are offered to the accepted technology initiatives. The scope of the program has been extended and the program was held in cooperation with MAVEN Consultancy Company, working in Munich, Germany. The first team of initiative will be offered the office in Munich and the professional consultancy for the access to the global market.​
