About Us
Our research as ŞEHİR Cognitive Psychology Lab is concentrated on one major theme: why do people process the same spatial information differently, and how do they do it. Our daily research activities are organized in the form of several research projects. Under the supervision of Dr. Reyyan Bilge, we work to expand our knowledge on mental rotation, on strategies to solve rotation problems, on false memories in the encoding process and on the representation of spatial knowledge.

Our team includes academicians from the ŞEHİR Psychology Department who eagerly encourage our Research Assistants to learn how to run experiments, be able to do a literature review, data analysis and soon enough to be able to conduct their own research within their undergraduate studies. Our goal is raising good researchers that question, challenge and think systematically.

ŞEHİR Cognitive Psychology Lab is funded from the TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and is involved in a series of collaborative projects.
